Here’s a quick vegan recipe for oats with excellent texture.
- Fill container 2/3 full of old-fashioned oats,
- add coconut/almond/oat milk to just above the oats,
- microwave no more than 1 minute (important),
- add fruit preserves, dark brown sugar, and more “milk.”
Considering that my everyday vegan breakfast is plain fruit, this is fancy.
